Walk day 4.5 miles - 3mph I was supposed to bike yesterday but the heat was up about 105 so I decided against it so I took yesterday as a rest day. Today I stayed home with a sick kid and worked hard to stay under my calorie goal. I was doing great until I unknowingly consumed 600 calories worth of pistachios. Who would have known those things have that many calories. Anyway I tried to make it up on the treadmill. Tomorrow is my run day so I'll duplicate my Monday run. My weight has skyrocketed. This has happened to me a few times. I think it is a combination of water retention, muscle gain and my body adjusting to reduced calories. I think it thinks it needs to retain fat or something. Anyway, I'm not going to pay it much mind right now. Next week I'll be adding a morning walk for everyday plus my training ride or run in the evening this usually gets my metabolism rocking in short order. -Eckroll |
