A little easier today. My HR stayed under 130 throughout. My legs are still weak but it won't be long.

Walk day

4.5 miles - 3mph

I was supposed to bike yesterday but the heat was up about 105 so I decided against it so I took yesterday as a rest day. Today I stayed home with a sick kid and worked hard to stay under my calorie goal. I was doing great until I unknowingly consumed 600 calories worth of pistachios. Who would have known those things have that many calories. Anyway I tried to make it up on the treadmill. Tomorrow is my run day so I'll duplicate my Monday run. My weight has skyrocketed. This has happened to me a few times. I think it is a combination of water retention, muscle gain and my body adjusting to reduced calories. I think it thinks it needs to retain fat or something. Anyway, I'm not going to pay it much mind right now. Next week I'll be adding a morning walk for everyday plus my training ride or run in the evening this usually gets my metabolism rocking in short order.

39min 3mph

My first runs in months. How things have changed. A lot of stuff on my body is jiggling. I've got a long way to go but if I keep my calorie intake to 1500 I should be back to where I was in about a month or so. I'm working to 1 goal and that is a 30 min 5k by the end of the year. I ran a 32 shortly before I stopped my program several months ago. I should be able to make it.

Walk day

I'll be starting my runs tomorrow. To be honest I consumed nearly 6000 calories yesterday. It might seem like a joke but I really did. I probably shouldn't have bought that margarita machine over the summer.
