So I'm back.  I had a pretty emotionally charged week last week and couldn't make any workouts.  I try really hard to stay away from drama but apparently if finds you.  I only have this to say to everyone.  Please people, if you suspect a child is being abused you have a legal and moral responsibility to report it.  Don't take sides, don't try and fix the problem, simply report it and let people more qualified than yourself deal with the issue.

So I ran tonight for the first time since last Monday.  I expected I would really struggle but my run was a healing experience and I enjoyed it very much.  It's probably not the safest thing in the world to run at night but I love it.  The air is cool, the stars are out, and everything is quiet and still.  My times weren't great but I went the furthest distance I've run to date.  Honestly, my knees and shins were my issue and definately not cardio.  I'm currently trying to keep all my workouts at 1 hour as it seems to be stimulating my weightloss.

One additional bit of news is that I finally got my times for the 5K from two weeks ago.  It appears I ran a 34:29 and averaged 11:12/mile.  This is big news because it is a PR and was in hills which I've never practiced on.  So I'm pleased.

Info on my run is below.

Glad you're back...sorry for the things you're having to deal with..

Congradulations on your PR, it's fun to set one and then have something to shoot for the next time. You'll be blowing that one away in the near future!
