Ok didn’t get to workout the last two days. I missed my swim Friday cause I couldn’t get moving in the morning and by the time I got to the gym they were closing. Saturday the weather looked bad and I couldn’t get with my partner so another day lost. However, I wasn’t going to let another day go by so today I headed out. I did things completely bass ackwards and started with my bike. I completed a little over 16 miles. It was a very nice ride. The temps were up in the mid 70′s today. I followed my ride up with a two mile run. Other than having to dodge kids and parents standing around on the track talking it was pretty uneventful. I managed to shave nearly 50 seconds off my mile pace from last week. Finally I did my swim. I now know why the swim is first. I suspect there would be a lot of drownings if the swim were last. I did 500 meters and it really wasn’t that bad. I forgot to check my time getting in and out so I don’t have those numbers. I treated myself to jacuzzi and sauna after and sat and enjoyed the quiet. My run and bike stats are below.

Hi there, it is great seeing another Austinite on the blog.

Keep it up - 3 years ago I was 210 pounds and something like 25% body fat. Recently I have been as low as 162 during heavy training. There is another runner in our group who used to weigh 248 pounds. His goal was to run a 2:48 marathon so he could have a t-shirt that said from 248 to 2:48:00. He accomplished his goal yesterday at the Houston marathon.

Remember that all things are possible! Keep up the great work!
