I got off the couch last year after 15 years away from the shoes!!  That's an accomplishment in itself.

 

Short-Term Running Goals:

2011

Complete a Sprint Triathlon and ride in Tour De Cure

2012

Complete a Olympic Distance Triathlon and complete a century ride.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I have only one goal long term and it's to work my way up to a Half Ironman.  I'm seeing this as a 5 year goal.

Personal:

Married with 4 kids.  I'm fat and slow.  Someday I hope I'm just slow.

It’s been a couple of weeks since i’ve been in the pool. I went 1000 yards at about 30 minutes. I felt pretty good considering the time away. I did manage to drink a big gulp of pool water and try and drown myself. Other than that i was good to go.

Ahhhhh....the proof has been exposed...you are drinking pool water...I told you that's what's making you gain weight...! Try duct tape, that might work!

LOL this is true. Now if I can just keep my mouth shut on todays bike ride I'll be in really good shape.

Hey...Wait...I think you should keep your mouth open on your bike rides. You might catch some bugs which would be high in protein and energy...!
