Bike
12.5 Miles - 12.5mph
Well when I get off the wagon I get off hard. I've managed to gain 20#'s in the last few months and for the most part haven't done a lick of work. The good news is I'm not at square one but I'm pretty close. When I stopped riding I was averaging near 17mph on a 30 mile ride in the hills. Today you can see I did 12.5 average in all flats. I'm going to ride the bike this week and walk on my off nights. Next week I'll add back my running and try to get back to my 5k. I'm also planning on adding some core workouts with my body weight (squats, pushups, crunches) to help me in all the events. The big thing I'm going to be changing is my eating. I'm going to be adding more fruits and nuts and low GI foods. I'm using MyFitnessPal to track food intake and workouts which really helps me track intack. It's been so hot here in Central Texas this summer that I couldn't even make myself go outside. Excuses, Excuses, I know.
